I went to see my cousin's school production of Into the Woods last night. At first, I was like "Wow. This music is really weird and annoying." (Because if you know anything about Into the Woods, You know that it has very odd music. Most songs follow a pattern, but the way Into to woods plays, it doesn't make any sense and its all over the place.)But after watching for a while, and meeting Cinderella's prince, and Rapunzel's prince (who are named just that, and are only called prince and brother in the musical) And hearing them sing agony I was completely enthralled. I never ever expected it to be so amazingly hilarious, either. The guy who was Cinderella's prince was Gaston last year (Awesome actor.) The end was a little sad, because pretty much everyone was dead. One of my cousin's already played a dead girl, and the other one was Jack's mother. She was bludgeoned over the head by the prince's steward because she didn't want to give the giant to jack. It was awesome, and I recommend you all go see it.

The best songs were (in my opinion) Agony, Beanstalk in the sky, Steps on the Palace, Agony reprise, and Your fault. Well, honestly all of them were pretty amazing.

Some other info about Avonworth: They LOVE their director. And I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE of them LOVES their director. She apparently is extremely professional and devoted to their musical. And she only picks classic shows, nothing too contemporary, But last year they did BATB, which is a little bit newer. They have the best sets in the world. And the crew and tech (While not very good at grabbing stuff,) have perfect timing for scene changes and awesome lighting
(I don't know about our crew for this, because I have never watched them remove stuff. I've always been back stage). Their stage is smaller than ours, but boy do they use all of it. Their auditorium is also smaller than ours, but when I went to see BATB it was PACKED. Not as much last night, but there were still a lot of people. They also have better mics. We need to get those, because ours make you look like you have some tattoo or snake thing on your face, but theirs you can't even see. They rent their costumes, which we don't have the budget for, and they
